You need to talk to your doctor ASAP. Postpartum is very different from "the baby blues". The baby blues only last a few weeks.
You don't want to look back on this time and only remember being sad.

You should talk to your doctor. My son is 2 months also and when he was a week old my husband and I received his deployment papers. I was depressed for about a week after that but then I was able to bring myself out of it. You want to be happy during his younger years. They go by to fast to not enjoy it. Talk to your doctor and have some fun with your son. =)

I didn't think there was a difference between baby blues and postpartum. People just don't like to say postpartum...so I thought. My son is about 11 months now and I feel that I just got over it about a month or 2 ago, but then that's when my mom died...I went to a brain doctor, but refused pills and I'm glad that I did. Everything takes time. Just wait it out. I know how horrible it can be, but everything gets better. I was still a zombie from lack of sleep when my son was 2 months old. It gets better !

at 2 months the baby blues have come and gone and you are dealing with real depression. depression rarely resolves itself. i suffered with postpartum and it was horrible feeling that way with a little beautiful baby. so, from one who has gone through it before look for some help. either a therapist or a support group. you can contact your local health dept to look for affordable mental health care for the uninsured if you need it. to look for a support group call your local la leche league. they are usually a very good source of info for mothers.
and ask for help. from the baby's father, from your parents, your in-laws, friends. some one to come watch the baby while you get some time away. having a support system makes it so much easier to deal with.

Talk to your doctor asap!
My daughter is almost 2 months and I havent felt like that at all. PPD is very serious and is nothing like the hormonal changes after birth. (baby blues) Call your regular doctor and they can help you!
Good luck hun!
