I gave birth early this year and ever since then,I cannot stand the woman who gave birth to me.I don't view her as the best mother in the world before but I have never felt the way the I do about her now.I use to care and worry if I didn't hear from her but not I dont care.I dont think she did anything bad to me but I know she criticizes me alot.I just can stand her.Its not post partum b/c I take care of myself and my baby very well.Im hopeful and opitmistic about my life...so what is causing me to feel so bitter towards her? I have no connection with her anymore.

I don't know for sure. Its probably not related to having a baby. sounds like you just have some unresolved issues with your mom. If you are happy not being apart of her life, then thats fine. move on with your life and be happy. you can do whatevers best for you. but if your not happy with the way things are, you should consider talking with a counselor or therapist, they can get to the root of the problem, and may help you to get through it, and heal your relationship with your mom. Its up to you what you want to do. good luck.
